The brand’s entry-level crossover, which launched in 2021, has been revamped with new looks that include LED headlights standardised across all trims, new full-length Horizon LED DRL (daytime running lights) bar and a redesigned front bumper incorporating a new front grille mesh design.

LED taillights are also standardised across all trims, with a redesigned rear bumper and new 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Four new exterior paint colours – Vibrant Blue Pearl, Meta Blue Pearl, Lucid Lime Metallic and Lumen Grey Pearl – debut among a total of nine colours, whilst the Premium trim can be further customised with a two-tone paint option featuring a black roof and door mirrors.

The revised Bayon also uplifts the interior with a new Vibrant Blue interior colour pack available across all trims and adding Vibrant Blue door panel and air vent accents and stitching in contrast to the black dashboard and upholstery. The pack also comes with multi-colour ambient lighting with 64 colour options, a new seat pattern and glass sunroof with electric tilt and slide.

Engine line-up has been slimmed down and now just includes the 100hp 1.0 turbocharged T-GDi engine, dropping the 120hp variant. It’s available with either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual clutch transmission for a £250 uplift, with WLTP emissions of 126g/km and 125g/km respectively.

Advanced driver assistance features include lane follow assist, lane keep assist, forward collision avoidance assist, second-generation eCall and intelligent speed limit assist.

Trim levels span Advance, Premium and Ultimate grades.

Advance is priced at £22,480 with the manual and £23,730 for the automatic. Alongside the new design features, Advance comes with automatic headlights with dusk sensor, electric heated and folding door mirrors, rear-view camera and parking sensors, 10.25-inch driver display and 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with Mapcare, Live services, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and cruise control.

Priced from £23,880 with the six-speed manual and £25,130 for the automatic, Premium adds in automatic climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, auto dimming rear view mirror, automatic windscreen wipers with rain sensor, front parking sensors, privacy glass and heated steering wheel and front seats. Additionally, black exterior styling – comprising a two-tone black roof and black door mirrors – is available on Premium models as a £500 option.

The Ultimate trim starts from £25,280 for the manual or £26,530 for the automatic. It features a Bose Premium sound system, wireless phone charging, blind spot collision warning, smart key with engine start button and a glass sunroof with electric tilt and slide.
