G3 Vehicle Auctions has marked its 15th year milestone with a new sales schedule and a special auction event at the G3 Castleford site.

G3 marked its 15th anniversary with a celebration sale in late September

Founded in 2009, G3 Vehicle Auctions has worked to transform the industry, including through its online-only sale events. It’s also invested heavily in the expansion of the business in the Yorkshire region, before recently acquiring the Cazoo Wholesale business to open a second 14-acre remarketing site in Bedford.

The team has also grown during that time from co-owners Matt Dale and Amanda Holtby to a headcount of more than 130 employees.

Whilst the business continues the development of the G3 Bedford site to gear up for the physical auction launch in Q4, G3 have shared an updated sales schedule which will support the launch. This schedule features an expanded list of auction events tailored to meet the needs of G3’s buyer and vendor networks, most notably the introduction of dedicated LCV sales at both G3 Bedford and G3 Castleford to support the influx of LCV stock and demand spearheaded by the addition of LCV specialist auctioneer Sam Magee to the team.

G3 also marked its 15th anniversary with a celebration sale in late September, which saw a rare Jaguar XR under the hammer as the first car in the sale, with the sale price on the rostrum matched by G3, with close to £2,000 donated to local charity St Gemma’s Hospice. With over 150 physical buyers in the hall for the event, the sale saw a number of vendors hit 100% conversion on the day.

G3’s co-owner Matt Dale commented: “We are incredibly proud of how far we have come in the first 15 years of G3 Remarketing. We have to acknowledge those who have joined us on this journey as it would not have been possible without the dedication of our team and the loyalty of our customers. With the recent addition of Bedford to the group doubling our capacity, we know we have an exciting 2025 lined up and I believe we have the best in the business across our management team ready to drive us into the next evolution of G3.”
