The firm, which is part of the 125-year old family firm J R Rix and Sons Ltd, now offers a total of six fuel cards, including Shell, Total, Keyfuels and Texaco.

Managing director Rory Clarke said: 'We are very pleased to have brought two more top quality brands into our fuel card range. Adding BP and UK Fuels fuel cards to our range means we are able to supply the right card for any business, from one vehicle operators to large, national hauliers.

'We also offer cards to suit mixed fleets of trucks, vans and cars, with all transactions included on one invoice.'

He added that BP is one of the best known and most attractive brands in Britain, and UK Fuels offers what is probably the cheapest fuel card available at the moment.

'The new cards are a great asset to Fuelmate and uptake is already started to grow, with sales volumes are building well,' he concluded.
