FuelGenie scores place on new Crown Commercial Service framework
FuelGenie has been listed as an accredited supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) new fuel cards and associated services framework.
FuelGenie offers low-cost fuel without account fees or surcharges. It also provides easy online account management and an app with enhanced card detail and invoice functionality
The new RM6186 framework replaces the current RM6000 agreement, which ends on 22 March 2022, and supports all public sector entities with the provision of a range of fuel cards and associated services, providing regional, nationwide and European coverage.
FuelGenie was already an accredited supplier on the old framework and has been retained for the new agreement following a successful bidding process.
The business, which is owned and operated by Worldline, is the only dedicated supermarket fuel card provider listed on the framework.
Using the agreement means new FuelGenie customers in the public sector will benefit from fully approved, pre-agreed terms and will not have to partake in OJEU procurement procedures. This saves time in evaluating, sourcing and securing a new fuel card supplier.
FuelGenie provides a host of benefits for public sector organisations, including low-cost supermarket fuel (3ppl cheaper than the national average), no fees or transaction charges, flexible payment terms, and a network of over 1,350 forecourts. Its cards also limit purchases to fuel only and the business offers easy online account management and an updated app that provides enhanced card detail and invoice functionality.
Robert Pieczka, managing director of FuelGenie, said that being included on the new framework would help more public sector and local government organisations to see the benefits of the firm’s service and take advantage of a fuel card scheme with no additional card fees.
