FuelGenie and The Fuel Store sign fuel card partnership deal

Fuel card provider The Fuel Store is now offering its customers the FuelGenie card under a new partnership.

The tie-up will enable customers to use the FuelGenie network of petrol stations including Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.

The Fuel Store will be responsible for all sales, marketing and customer management whilst FuelGenie will provide bespoke cards and process all transactions with systems integrated with supermarkets through an easy-to-use API.

FuelGenie managing director Robert Pieczka said that more and more resellers are recognising the benefits of offering the supermarket fuel card service – in particular when almost half of all fuel in the UK is already bought from supermarkets.

Pieczka added: “The Fuel Store has proven itself as a rapidly growing reseller and is highly successful in winning new customers. By adding the FuelGenie solution to its product portfolio I am confident that this will further accelerate growth.”

Jamie Bridgen, managing director of The Fuel Store, commented: “The Fuel Store is excited about this new partnership with fuelGenie and the ability to offer our new and existing customers all the benefits of a supermarket pump priced card solution. With fuel prices at record levels and still volatile, we expect high levels of demand for this low-cost solution.”
