Free webinar to spotlight fleet driver safety and wellbeing

A free webinar that will explore the causes of work-related driver risk and how to improve safety and wellbeing is being run by DriverMetrics later this month.

The webinar will cover issues including a science-led approach to the causes of work-related risk and how to improve driver safety

The event, taking place on 28 June 2022 from 12:00 to 13:00, will feature Dr Julie Gandolfi, DriverMetrics’ head of psychometrics and analytics, and will cover subjects including a science-led approach to the causes of work-related risk and a range of key issues, including fatigue, stress and workload.

It will also discuss how to devise an approach to reduce risk and improve driver safety.

It’s the latest work by DriverMetrics to make scientific research into employee driver safety more widely available. Established at Cranfield University in 2005, the organisation is focused on saving lives by educating people on the human factors issues that place them at risk on the road.

Its integrated, multi-platform programme encompasses driver assessment and coaching, through to post-crash interventions and management training.
