FMG Repair Services has promoted operations director Paul Wrigglesworth to the role of managing director with immediate effect.

Wrigglesworth succeeds Claire Owens, who recently announced she would step down from the role to explore new opportunities beyond the group.

Wrigglesworth has 37 years of experience in the bodyshop industry, successfully leading teams in some of the UK’s largest accident repair groups.

Since joining the FMG Repair Services business in 2022, he has helped drive performance optimisation through technological innovation and best practice processes across the repair group.

FMG also said Wrigglesworth had been pivotal in the attraction and retention of fresh talent into the industry, positioning the company as an employer of choice through supporting and partnering on a broad range of automotive initiatives.
