Final deadline to enter Brake’s UK Fleet Champions Awards 2025

Fleets have a final chance to champion their road safety achievements by entering this year’s UK Fleet Champions Awards, run by road safety charity Brake.

The nominations window closes on Friday 2 May

The deadline to enter is fast approaching, with less than a week left before the nominations window closes on Friday 2 May.

The UK Fleet Champions Awards are open to any organisation that employs people who drive for work as well as those that support the fleet industry with products and services that help make our roads safer. Brake is also inviting people to nominate their colleagues who have gone the extra mile to address work-related road risk in their organisation, or throughout their careers.

For the second year, Brake has partnered with Driving for Better Business from National Highways to deliver these prestigious awards, which celebrate the achievements of those working to prevent crashes and reduce pollution caused by work vehicles.

The awards are free to enter and are an excellent way to celebrate the hard work of the organisations and individuals across the fleet sector that make road safety a priority.

All entries will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges and the winners presented at a glittering ceremony at New Dock Hall at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, on Thursday 25 September 2025.

Brake CEO Ross Moorlock said: “More than a third of UK road deaths involve someone who was driving for work, but the good news is that we know there are companies across the country who are working hard to make a difference – through the safe and sustainable operation of work vehicles, and by championing safe driving behaviours. If you or your organisation are going the extra mile to stop road deaths caused by work vehicles, we want to hear from you! Please get your entries in soon – this is a great opportunity to get recognition for the incredible work you are doing.”
