Europcar has reinforced its commitment to the insurance sector with the appointment of Jonathan Brownhill as business development director.

Brownhill brings 17 years’ automotive sector experience across areas including operations, remarketing and insurance replacement business development.

He joins Europcar’s insurance specialist team, led by head of insurance sales James Roberts, and will work with insurers to provide fit-for-purpose solutions.

Brownhill commented: “This is an exciting new role for me, working for a business that offers a best-in-class, end-to-end solution for all insurance mobility claim types, backed by a dedicated, centralised insurance support team.
