Concept Vehicle Leasing has promoted Gary Dawes to the role of commercial director.

Dawes first joined the Surrey-based fleet and leasing broker in February 2021 as head of strategic partnerships, and has a background in business growth, development, and professional coaching.

Since joining Concept, he’s been instrumental with the launch and growth of Concept’s dedicated referral channel, Concept Business Partners, which now has around 70 introducers.

In his new role, he will have oversight of sales and commercial functions at Concept, including planned growth through appointed representatives in 2022.

Gary is a natural leader who brings commercial experience in developing relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and clients alike.

His appointment is part of a wider strategic plan for expansion and growth in 2022 and beyond.

The business has opened opportunities for a range of new roles, including positions for Business Development, CRM and Office / Operations Management
