BCA’s Steve Paine takes on responsibility for the Bridgwater auction centre alongside being general manager of Blackbushe
Since he first joined BCA in 1997, Paine has held various roles.
Darren Betteridge, regional operations director at BCA, said: “Gareth Musgrove and the team at Bridgwater have driven exceptional growth over the last two years, and Steve’s all-round knowledge of managing a high volume operation will help to strengthen our proposition in the south west to ensure that our business continues to prosper.”
The changes to his role follow BCA’s recent announcement of an extensive investment programme with major enhancements to its UK remarketing network over the next two years, covering the Midlands, north, south and M1 corridor. This is being carried out alongside the integration of the Scottish Motor Auction Group (SMA) business with facilities in Leeds, Wolverhampton, Kinross and Livingstone.
Steve Paine commented: “The ongoing investment and development of our network and services mean BCA is ideally placed to help our customers maintain an advantage in this fast moving and competitive environment. My larger role will enable us to ensure that our customer-led approach continues to deliver results.”
