AFP announces 2024 Member Expo
More than 50 exhibitors have already signed up to take part in the Association of Fleet Professionals’ second Member Expo, which is being announced today.

Taking place on Wednesday 25th September at Telford International Centre, it will also feature a series of round table discussions based on topics most requested by AFP members. These include The EV Transition – Is it Worth it?; Driver Safety – Cameras, Tech or Training?; and Managing Service, Maintenance and Repair Delays.
Matt Hammond, vice chair at the AFP, said: “Last year’s first AFP Member Expo was a considerable success, and there has been a high degree of enthusiasm from among our fleet manager and service provider members for reprising the event in 2024.
“Our whole approach is to make the day as productive as possible, giving visitors the opportunity to access people, services and information that can help them with current fleet management issues but also inform them about future opportunities. The overarching aim is to enable useful, practical conversations to take place.”
He explained that there were three main elements to the Expo – sharing best practice and experiences, making new contacts among fleet managers and suppliers, and exploring new trends and solutions.
Matt added: “These aims are very much at the heart of the AFP and it makes sense that the event should reflect our ethos. The MemberExpo aims to bring everyone involved in The AFP together for the day.
“Exhibitors are entirely drawn from our membership and cover a wide range of fleet suppliers – including leasing companies, livery providers, vehicle convertors, signage makers, car and van manufacturers, logistics specialists, telematics businesses and more. Importantly, there’s no hierarchy of exhibitors with all stands being the same size.”
Support for the Expo is coming from Renault, who are sponsoring the round table discussions, and BMW and MINI Corporate Certified, who are providing lunch for delegates.
One change for 2024 is that previously, the Expo was limited to AFP members but this year, they can bring along colleagues and peers from across the fleet management sector.
Matt said: “The day is at least partially a shop window for what the AFP offers and anyone who plays a role in the running of their company’s fleet can come along.
“We’d also like to thanks Renault, BMW and MINI for their support. Sponsorships of this kind help to make events such as the Expo possible.”
