The new business includes deals with major power and water companies and local authorities counting National Grid, Scottish Power, Scottish Water, Dumfries and Galloway Council and Renfrewshire Council, and adds to the 60,000 vehicles already tracked with Masternaut over the web with clients such as Amey, Balfour Beatty and Carillion.

Masternaut provides end-to-end solutions for businesses on the move, including vehicle tracking, mobile workforce applications and Microsoft Dynamics business management software. In addition, it offers its GreenerFleet solution, which enables fleet operators to drive down their environmental impact, as well as technology to support Duty of Care initiatives.

'We are delighted with our recent success in the utilities and public sectors. To gain £10 million of new business in such a short period of time is extraordinary and highlights the energy, water and public sectors’ eagerness to employ advanced vehicle tracking and it also shows our ability to deliver a superior solution, excellent customer service and expertise,' said Martin Port, MD, Masternaut Three X.

'These organisations are impressed by our extensive knowledge and understanding of how we can apply our Masternaut-based solutions to deliver efficiencies, save them money and help them to enhance their customer services. By working closely with them we are able to tailor our web-based services to deliver precisely the level of fleet and mobile resource visibility they need,' he added.
