Tusker announces key changes to senior leadership team

Salary sacrifice specialist Tusker has announced key changes to its senior leadership team.

The business, acquired by Lloyds Banking Group for £300m in February 2023, recently appointed former chief operating officer Kit Wisdom as its new MD following the departure of CEO Paul Gilshan, and said the latest changes would support its next phase of growth and development.

Jodie Monaghan becomes operations director

Jodie Monaghan has been appointed as the new operations director. With nearly nine years at Tusker, and 20 years’ experience in the leasing industry, her journey at Tusker began as head of the training academy before advancing to head of customer experience and then to customer experience director.

Monaghan will now oversee the entire customer journey, including contract initiation, in-life customer care, vehicle operations and contract termination processes.

Steve Barker, Tusker’s chief commercial officer, has decided to step down from his role after six years with the business. During his time, he has helped to shape Tusker’s business and commercial strategy, strengthening customer and partner relationships, and advancing the IT project roadmap to introduce new products and services. Successes include developing a ‘Best in Class Commercial Team’ and playing a key role in the sale of Tusker to Lloyds Banking Group.

Alison Argall has been promoted as business development and customer retention director

Following his departure, Tusker has promoted Alison Argall to the role of business development and customer retention director. Argall, who has been with Tusker for over 20 years, and served as business development director for the last 13 years, will now expand her expertise into all areas of customer management and drive Tusker’s future growth and customer engagement strategies.

Kit Wisdom commented: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Steve for his contribution to Tusker and I’m delighted to have Jodie and Ali join Tusker’s senior leadership team. Their dedication and extensive salary sacrifice experience will undoubtedly contribute to our ongoing success as we further enhance our customer offerings and explore new opportunities.

“Additionally, this marks a significant step in our commitment to improving diversity of thought within our leadership team by enhancing female representation, fostering a more inclusive and dynamic work environment.

“Tusker remains dedicated to delivering exceptional service and value to our customers and partners and with our highly experienced leadership team in place, we are well-positioned for an exciting new phase of growth.”
