Responding to suggestions from its Leaselink user group, Ebbon-Dacs is to roll out a series of improvements, including a capability to handle batch orders.

Robert Pilkington (Inset), managing director of the Leaselink International division of Ebbon-Dacs, said: 'We need to keep moving our platform forward while not increasing pricing to customers. This is a challenge with the security demands of the current era, but by making staffing and technical investments now, we can provide more in the future.'

As part of the process, Leaselink has already funded a move to the latest Microsoft database version.

It has also taken on two new members of staff. Diane Parslow, who has more than 17 years’ experience in the fleet industry, will be helping to understand leasing customer requirements and feeding that back to the technical team, while business analyst Sarah Alexander has taken over responsibility for development planning, including creating a series of new features and functionality for the platform.

Leaselink is used by 10 of the UK’s top 15 leasing companies to source, order and track the delivery of more than 100,000 new fleet vehicles every year.
