Zenith launched its salary sacrifice product nearly 5 years ago and its schemes are live in mid to large corporate organisations across the UK. Now the company is offering salary sacrifice to 180 eligible employees at its offices in Leeds.

The scheme sits alongside Zenith’s existing company car scheme and can be used by company car drivers can opt for a second car through the scheme, for use by their spouse or partner. CO2 emissions are capped at 130g/km and cars are available from a range of manufacturers.

Zenith carried out a survey of its employees to assess interest levels and assist in the design of the scheme prior to implementing it and says the first order was taken within hours of launch.

Marisa Jerrison, head of human resources and development at Zenith, commented: ‘We are always looking for ways to evolve and enhance our benefits package, to ensure we attract and retain the best employees. Salary sacrifice car schemes act as an excellent reward, retention and motivation tool.

‘Given the success of our own customers’ schemes, there was a lot of interest from our employees in salary sacrifice car schemes. They do not work for all companies; however we knew from speaking to employees and from our survey that it would add value. We can help our employees to save money, drive a new lower-emission car, save on fuel and improve driver safety.’
