O’Donovan will be responsible for fleet sales at the dealership on Newport Retail Park and will build relationships with businesses in the city.

He commented: “I joined Wessex Garages because I was very keen to work with a forward thinking and proactive business and I was attracted to its track record. 

“I can’t wait to really get stuck into my role and meet current and potential customers in the area. Renault’s vehicle range is highly competitive in terms of price, total cost of ownership and CO2 emissions and I am excited to expand and strengthen Wessex Garages’ fleet business in Newport.”

He brings more than 30 years of experience in the motor industry. His previous roles include being a business centre manager for five years at a Renault dealership in Cardiff and four years working for Vans Direct as a sales manager and process manager.
