Web monitoring service added to Cobra stolen vehicle recover products

The new service offers benefits including real-time vehicle location via a simple password-protected web application.

There's also a geofencing facility, which allows operators to self-set a geofence zone around vehicles and receive immediate alerts via SMS/email/voice alert if a vehicle enters or leaves the pre-set area.

Another feature is the self-set Transport Mode, intended for use when travelling for instance by ferry, or Garage Mode when the vehicle is being serviced. Both prevent false alerts from being generated.

The service can be added to both of Cobra’s tracking products, CobraTrak Plus and CobraTrak 5, for a small, additional fixed annual fee.

Both products also offer a number of different features. The new CobraTrak Plus system delivers GPS stolen vehicle tracking with pan European coverage, plus the added security of a tow-away alert, a tamper alert and a GSM jamming alert.

The latest version of CobraTrak 5 incorporates all these features with the added benefit of GPS and GSM jamming detection and automatic driver recognition via driver card and remote ignition lock.
