WB Power Services adopts two-pronged approach to staff eyecare

While basic eyecare is required for most staff under DSE regulations, WB Power Services has gone further to offer employees a higher level of benefits.

The company, a specialist in temporary and back-up power supplies, is providing essential prescription safety eyewear for its engineers through Specsavers Corporate Eyecare whilst also offering eyecare to all other staff as an additional employee benefit. The options are being made available through Safety Eyewear and Optical Care eVouchers.

The nature of WB Power Services’ business means that its staff travel the country widely and frequently. Philip Mobley, sales and account manager at Specsavers Corporate Eyecare, commented: “The number of Specsavers stores, located nationwide, is a big advantage for WB Power. It means their employees can always find a convenient time and place for eyecare.”

Angela Okane, quality health safety and environment officer at WB Power Services, added: “We take eyecare very seriously and offer annual eye tests as standard to all employees. This means that we need to be confident in the cost, service and expertise of our eyecare provider. Specsavers Corporate Eyecare’s eVouchers are very easy to use, they offer excellent value for money and a wide variety of frames to choose from. We find the staff very friendly, willing, and helpful, with high standards of care. The service we receive, both in-store and when calling, is fantastic, hence the continuation of our work with them.”
