According to Dataforce figures, fleet registrations of VW, Audi, SEAT and Skoda vehicles from January to September 2010 totalled 408,419 units for Germany, France, UK, Spain and Italy, up by 9.9% on the figure of 371,691 units for the same period in 2009. At the same time marketshare rose from 25.3% to 26%. 

The Dataforce report also showed that the VW Golf was again the most popular model for fleet customers for the first nine months of 2010, with the VW Passat and the Audi A4 coming second and third.

'The Volkswagen Group has further extended its market leadership in Europe. Apart from the innovative product range, this success is attributable to professional market coverage by the Group, the brands and the importers in these countries,' commented Martin Jahn, head of Volkswagen Group Fleet International.
