Volkswagen augments T-Roc line-up with new Black Edition
Volkswagen has expanded the T-Roc range with a new Black Edition trim level to bring additional styling and equipment features.
Volkswagen T-Roc Black Edition
Already seen in the Touareg line-up, the Black Edition sits above the SE and adds black-finished styling to the T-Roc’s grille trim, door mirror caps, roof rails and exhaust pipes, as well as adding rear privacy glass, 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights.
The interior also gets a makeover, with ‘Piano Black’ dashpads, black roof lining, leather-wrapped gearshift knob and multi-function sports steering wheel with contrasting grey stitching, white ambient lighting and footwell illumination.
Paintwork choices cover 10 different colours, including Turmeric Yellow, Ravenna Blue, Energetic Orange, Deep Black Pearl and Flash Red.
The T-Roc Black Edition is available exclusively in front-wheel drive, and features 1.0- and 1.5-litre TSI petrol, and 1.6- and 2.0-litre TDI diesel engines, with 115 and 150hp outputs respectively.
The total equipment represents more than £2,000 of options, but pricing starts at £23,750 OTR for the 1.0-litre, 115hp TSI model compared to £23,350 for the SE version.
The Black Edition T-Roc is on sale now; deliveries are scheduled for late summer.
