Virgin Media appoints LeasePlan as long-term sole supplier

The deal is effective from 1 October and sees LeasePlan undertake responsibility for managing a fleet of more than 2,600 vehicles, including many commercial vehicles.

With plans for the fleet to expand over the next 18 months, LeasePlan’s comprehensive fleet management services for Virgin Media will include:
• Fully outsourced driver services and bespoke driver web portal
• Accident management and glass management
• Mileage management
• Third-party supplier invoice management
• Inverter and safety checks –  a bespoke service specifically required owing to the technology carried by the fleet
• Fuel card management and analysis
• Data management
• Driving licence checking
• TFL registration
