Used all day, every day by the charity, the fleet has been deployed for the Family Support teams, and will offer transport to and from the hospital, provide siblings with lifts to school and take children to tailored drop-in group.

The all-diesel fleet comprises 18 Berlingo Multispace MPVs and a pair of C4s, each equipped with tinted windows for extra privacy, and will cover around 20,000 miles per year.

All vehicles are financed through Lex Autolease on a three-year contract hire agreement, with maintenance, and were supplied through Lookers Citroen.

Jonathan Bennett of the Rainbow Trust, said: ‘The Berlingo Multispace is the perfect vehicle for us, offering complete versatility within our budget. The low whole-life costs of each will allow us to divert more of our finances to our vital children’s care.’
