The firm said her expertise will be instrumental in managing the company’s existing client portfolio, whilst helping to support new business opportunities in local government and the emergency services sectors.

For nearly 10 years Newport held the position of head of fleet service at the London Borough of Enfield and was responsible for managing a fleet of over 300 vehicles, ensuring compliance regulations were met, as well as holding the council’s operator’s licence. She has also played an instrumental role in tendering for large contracts, including vehicle hire, vehicle procurement and fleet maintenance.

More recently she held the position of regional fleet manager at Veolia Environmental Services.
