The IntelliGrip system brings five adaptive traction control modes.

IntelliGrip adapts torque distribution to the front wheels according to the selected mode, delivering power as required while bringing fuel consumption benefits compared to conventional, heavier all-wheel drive systems.

Five modes are on offer, calibrating the electronic stability programme (ESP) and traction control to suit various road driving conditions, including snow, mud and sand.

The technology is available with all Grandland X powertrain combinations (excluding the 174bhp 2.0-litre diesel variant in Ultimate trim) as part of the ‘All Road Pack’ option, which is available for SE, Tech Line Nav, Sport Nav and Elite Nav model variants.
