The prestigious new event, on Thursday 8th October, will not only provide a static exhibition, interactive fleet seminar programme and exciting ride and drive event for van fleet operators, but it will also be followed by a glittering black-tie awards evening at the same venue. The VAN Fleet World Honours for 2015 will be presented in front of the great and the good of the fleet industry.

The inaugural VAN Fleet World Live event comprises the following key elements:

• Ride and drive event involving leading van manufacturers
• Indoor exhibition space of over 3,420 square metres for van manufacturers and fleet service providers
• Interactive seminar programme 
• Presentation in the evening of the 2015 VAN Fleet World Honours

VAN Fleet World Live will give visitors the opportunity to road test the very latest light commercial vehicles around Milton Keynes’ innovative 'grid' system of roads – a network of national speed limit, fully landscaped routes, unique in the UK.

All test drives at VAN Fleet World Live will be accompanied by a manufacturer representative, allowing the opportunity to ask questions and receive a comprehensive overview of the vehicle involved.

Organiser and event director of VAN Fleet World Live, Jerry Ramsdale said: “The aim of our new event is to provide visitors with a rich experience on the day, covering all possible areas of interest.

'VAN Fleet World Live will be at the exciting new ArenaMK which offers all the facilities required for a successful show.

'For many visitors, the opportunity to discover and evaluate potential new suppliers is as valuable as road testing vehicles and our indoor exhibition area will provide the ideal opportunity for that. 

'At the same time, it will also be the focus for those wishing to meet up with colleagues from across the fleet industry. Many of the motor manufacturers attending the show will have external stands and hospitality areas, and will also have the opportunity for an internal exhibition area to provide the ideal location for meeting new customers and initiating business discussions.

There will be a strong educational theme to the new event and VAN Fleet World Live will include a new seminar and training format designed to provide practical hands-on advice and guidance across a range of fleet management disciplines.

Each session will be presented by an experienced fleet manager whose expertise in their chosen subject area will provide delegates with a case-study style learning experience.

In the evening after the exhibition, the 2015 VAN Fleet World Honours awards ceremony will take place from 7pm at the ArenaMK, which has some 300 high-quality guest rooms for those wanting to book overnight accommodation.

These prestigious awards are designed to recognise innovation, quality and sustainability in the LCV arena and the judges will be looking for evidence of these characteristics when evaluating submissions.
