The updated Peugeot 308 is now on sale

The 2020 model – revealed earlier this year – is priced from £21,310 and available to order in both hatchback and SW estate versions.

A key update is the introduction of Peugeot’s Digital i-Cockpit technology, with a 10-inch head-up digital instrument panel featured as standard. Also included as standard across the range is a 9.7-inch capacitive high-definition colour touchscreen with Mirror Screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The new 308 also gets new colour options and alloys, and comes with Peugeot’s revised trim structure. The lead-in trim is Active Premium, followed by Allure, GT – all offering an intermediate Premium trim level – and finished with the GTi.

Entry-level equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels and rear parking sensors, alongside the i-Cockpit tech, while Allure models start from £23,280 and add the Safety Plus Pack, Visio Park 1 180-degree reversing camera, sports style front seats, higher-grade 16-inch alloy wheels and Connected 3D navigation with TomTom Live updates. Allure Premium adds adaptive cruise control and keyless entry and start.

The GT trim starts from £26,630 and offers Connect SOS & Assistance, 17-inch alloy wheels, Driver Sport Pack and leather effect and cloth seat trim with red stitching. GT Premium adds in active blind spot monitoring, park assist, 18-inch alloy wheels and Alcantara cloth and leather effect seat trim with red stitching.

The range-topping GTi is priced at £31,985 and is equipped with a Torsen limited-slip differential, 19-inch two-tone finish diamond cut alloy wheels, twin exhausts and a black rear diffuser. It also features 11mm lower ride height and red brake callipers with 380mm front discs. Inside, there is a perforated leather steering wheel with red stitch detail, GTi bucket seats featuring driver and passenger electric lumbar adjustment and Sport branded Alcantara and leather effect seat trim, which include a massage function.

Engine line-up covers three PureTech petrol, including the 1.2-litre 110 with six-speed manual, the 1.2-litre 130 with six-speed manual or the EAT8 eight-speed auto and the 260hp 1.6-litre engine in the GTi, which accelerates from 0-60mph in 6.0 seconds. Just one diesel is offered – the 1.5-litre BlueHDi 130 – with the same choice of transmissions.

The new line-up is available to order now through Peugeot’s Buy Online service, including a virtual showroom.

Deliveries start imminently.
