TyreSafe extends deadline for awards submissions

The awards, which recognise the work and achievements of those campaigning to raise awareness of tyre safety in the UK during 2015, are open to non-members of TyreSafe as well as its supporters.

Submissions have already been received from tyre, car and van manufacturers and retailers, along with road safety partnerships. Shortlisted entrants and guests will gather at the awards’ evening ceremony on 14 July at The Belfry, Wishaw to hear the award winners.

This year’s awards cover:

  • Independent garage award – Giti Tire (UK) Ltd
  • Franchise dealership award – NFU Mutual
  • Tyre manufacturer award – Micheldever Tyre Services Ltd / Protyre
  • Tyre retailer award –Pirelli
  • Vehicle manufacturer award – Continental Tyres
  • Innovation and use of Technology Award – Michelin Tyre plc
  • Safety in the community award – Asda
  • Emergency services award – Bridgestone
  • On-line and social media award – Goodyear Dunlop
  • Outstanding achievement award – Highways England
