The latest financial backing has been provided by Santander and comes six weeks after salary sacrifice specialist Tusker announced that it has been given a multi-million pound funding line by Barclays and significant asset finance facilities to enable the expansion of its vehicle fleet.

David Brockwell, chief financial officer at Tusker, said: ‘We’re delighted that Santander has supported us in our expansion and growth plans and that we’ve secured this financial support from them.”

Charles Johnson, relationship director, large corporate group at Santander Corporate and Commercial, added: ‘Tusker is an excellent business that is exactly the sort of company we seek to do business with.

‘It is a fast-growth business that is performing successfully and we are delighted to have provided Tusker with this new funding facility to help further boost this growth.’

Tusker’s salary sacrifice car scheme, SS4C, has won a number of business and innovation awards in recent months, and was also shortlisted for the Orange Innovation Award at the recent National Business Awards.
