A total of eight members of Liverpool-based AFTAthought attended the bespoke training course at their offices in Wavertree Business Park. Attendees, including those who drive actors to training venues, were taught about speed awareness, motorway driving and given tips on driving groups of people.

Brian Hallett, logistics manager for AFTAthought, commented: 'It was great training. We did it because we have a small number of people who constantly take actors out to training venues. We want them to be the best trained so that they are confident when they take people to training events.

'Other staff also chose to attend. We all gained a lot from it.'
