By / 13 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

Brake believes that telematics technology, already in use in the commercial sector, should be used to help companies ensure they are doing everything possible to understand and manage the issue of road risk.

Brake’s Road Safety Week campaign, which began on 22 November, calls for telematics to be more widely implemented to really take hold of health and safety with in businesses running fleets.

Now, Trimble is calling for CEOs and other senior management to test their own driving style, receiving free Trimble hardware in their vehicle that will monitor their driver style and provide them with a safety assessment to see just how well they fare out on the road.

Andrew Yeoman, MD of Trimble MRM, said: 'We believe our technology helps drivers handle their vehicles more safely and are proud to support Brake during Road Safety Week and look forward to working with them on this crucial area that needs both focus and improvement.'
