A total of 52 vehicles were recovered throughout the month, with thieves most likely to target vehicles with a price range of up to £10,000, followed then by vehicles between £10-30,000.

The most expensive vehicles recovered during the month were BMW X5 (£50,000) and X6 (£50,000 sports utility vehicles, followed then by a Mercedes C63 luxury sedan (£47,000), whereas the vehicle with the least value recovered during February was a Volkswagon Beetle (£5,000). 

The report also shows that out of the 52 vehicle recoveries during February, a total of 5 arrests were made by police forces, which indicates a high escape / low conviction rate of those responsible.
