This latest win from Fleet World recognises TRACKER’s ability to remain at the industry’s cutting edge.TRACKER Fleet incorporates unique features such as patented Transient Voltage Detection technology. Vitally, this detects electrical noise to more accurately determine when an engine is running and eliminating false idling readings, a concern prevalent in many of today’s alternative offerings.  TRACKER Fleet also examines driving style, a growing trend in fleet monitoring.

Bringing its marketing leading tracking solutions to an even wider audience, Battery Powered TRACKER Fleet monitors and locates non-powered assets, including port-a-cabins, containers, trailers and powered vehicles where connection is not practical or not possible. As the unit is simpler to install it can be fitted quickly and at a low cost, but still offer all the key benefits of TRACKER Fleet.

Commenting on the Award win, Van Fleet World Editor, John Kendall, said: ‘The launch of TRACKER Fleet has reinforced the company’s position as an innovative and ambitious fleet telematics provider. TRACKER Fleet is a completely re-engineered, highly sophisticated product with many new features bringing next-generation telematics services to fleet operators. The TRACKER team has demonstrated that it has the ability to develop and manage solutions that offer clear benefits to fleet managers, and all of this is underpinned by the latest technology to ensure that the services are reliable, future-proof and easy to use.’

Fleet managers can customise TRACKER Fleet’s reporting suite allowing users to select their own Key Performance Indicators to be highlighted on the dashboard, providing a single view of their fleet’s activity. As well as delivering information crucial to the smooth and safe running of a fleet, such as speeding and exceeding mileage limits, vehicles can be arranged into groups of use, such as sales, service or by region or depot and have identifiers added to them – all of which can be modified by a fleet manager.

In addition advanced Google Map features such as Street View help drivers and fleet managers by offering features, including a route replay function, which is a standout piece of technology and a real benefit for customers monitoring their drivers.

Stephen Doran (Inset), managing director for TRACKER, commented: 'This is a fantastic win for TRACKER, we will continue to develop our TRACKER Fleet product ensuring we address the ongoing requirements of SME customers operating a few vehicles, through to large organisations with fleets numbering thousands.

'The Fleet World Honours is one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in our industry and recognises the best of the best. TRACKER Fleet is our next generation fleet telematics product and this level of industry recognition just goes further to strengthen our position, supporting fleet managers in organisations large and small,' he added.
