Toyota Corolla range updated for 2021

Toyota’s Corolla Hatchback, Saloon and Touring Sports have received equipment and style upgrades for the 2021 model year.

The 2021 Toyota Corolla range is on sale now.

The additions include a new seven-inch colour multi-information display for the entry-level Icon grade while both Icon and Icon Tech versions are fitted with new LED front fog lights, which are now supplied as standard range-wide.

New tech also includes an EV drive indicator in the driver’s instrument binnacle, displaying when the car is running on electric power alone, with zero emissions and fuel consumption.

Toyota has also updated its MyT connected car app and multimedia with extra functions, including stolen vehicle tracking, remote status check which confirms if the lights are off, the windows closed and the doors locked, and an eCare remote “health check” that alerts on any malfunction warnings.

Design revisions include a new-look cabin with a new black cloth seat upholstery and a chrome trim line detailing, alongside new material for the door panel inserts and centre console trim, plus cool blue ambient lighting in the doors, front cup holders and centre console tray.

New-design 10-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels also debut on the Design grade.

GR Sport and Excel Hatchback models gain four new colour choices for the optional bi-tone finish and Obsidian Blue also joins the list of Corolla monotone paint finishes.
