Toyota has enhanced its Aygo x-clusiv with improved specification for 2017.

Aygo x-clusiv is now offered in a choice of seven different shades, including Electro Grey.

Previously only available in one body colour, the carmaker’s top-spec city car is now offered in a choice of seven different shades, with Electro Grey joined by White Flash, Silver Splash, Bold Black, Red Pop, Deep Blue Buzz and – exclusive to the x-clusiv – Cyan Splash.

As with the recently launched Aygo x-style and x-press, the dashboard and upper door trims are also finished in the same colour as the external bodywork and the x-clusiv now also features dark and mid-grey leather seat upholstery. Meanwhile the electric, full-length canvas Funroof previously included as standard has now been made an £895 option.

Other equipment remains the same and includes 15-inch alloys, climate control, the x-touch multimedia system with seven-inch colour touchscreen, reversing camera, dusk-sensing headlights, smart entry and push-button start, rear privacy glass, Bluetooth, power-adjustable heated door mirrors and DAB radio.

The Aygo x-clusiv is on sale now, available solely as a five-door and with the three-cylinder, 1.0-litre VVT-i petrol engine featuring a choice of five-speed manual or x-shift automated manual transmission.

Prices start at £13,035 for the manual and £13,735 for the x-shift; the Funroof option adds a further £895.
