The Driving Doctor’s driver behaviour solution is now being offered through TomTom Telematics in a move to help fleets enhance risk management and safer driving behaviour strategies.

Developed by Driving Doctor CEO Paul Ripley and his team, the SaaS solution utilises driver behaviour data from OptiDrive 360, a key feature of the TomTom Telematics WEBFLEET fleet management platform, to analyse drivers’ real-time telematics data and provide feedback and coaching education to drivers digitally, helping to reduce accident rates and cut costs.

TomTom Telematics WEBFLEET customers using the solution include telecommunications specialist, Cable and Splicing Services Limited (Cass), which says it’s seen its overall fleet safety score improve by 68% in just over two months while it’s recording year-on-year fuel savings from its fleet of 160 vans of more than £4,000 per week. It’s also benefiting from reduced insurance premiums.
