TomTom hits fleet milestone

It follows sustained growth throughout the first quarter of this year, increasing by 36% compared to the same period in 2011.

TomTom now has more than 16,500 business using the product, including electrical contractor Clarkson Evans. It recently deployed TomTom fleet management across its UK fleet of 160 vans. 

The firm’s operations manager Catherine Mason said: ‘We were able to rapidly introduce TomTom technology across our fleet without the need for lengthy development or use of a complex, customised solution. 

‘We have therefore enjoyed a number of immediate operational benefits and look forward to further efficiency gains in the coming months.’
