TfL prosecutes BT for ‘disruptive street work’
TfL prosecuted the telecomms giant, saying it had committed offences at four sites last year, including working without a permit in Devonshire Road in Lewisham and Jamaica Road in Southwark.
TfL added that the prosecutions form part of its work to tackle poorly planned and managed roadworks, which affect the safety and reliability of London’s roads and cause avoidable road traffic congestion.
