Teletrac guide raises awareness of illegal driving habits

A new guide to 20 illegal driving habits is now available from Teletrac Navman.

Teletrac Navman says drivers could be breaking laws without realising

Published to support this year’s UK Road Safety Week campaign (19-23 November), the guide outlines overlooked driving laws to help raise awareness, reduce risk and prevent drivers from committing offences, such as playing music that’s too loud and splashing pedestrians by carelessly driving through puddles.

Peter Millichap, UK marketing director at Teletrac Navman, commented: “Many driving offences are clearly defined. If you drive at a speed faster than the limit on a particular road, you’re breaking the law. If you cross a solid white line to overtake another car, you’re committing an offence. However, there are other driving offences that drivers may be less aware of. As such, the new guide reinforces the numerous motoring laws drivers need to be mindful of.”
