The publisher chose Tusker to implement the SalarySacrifice4Cars (SS4C) online salary sacrifice scheme from Tusker following advice from Tony Nevin, managing director of its flexible benefits advisor, Serenity Flex and Reward.

Head of Human Resources, Richard Morgan said: 'When choosing the benefits to include on our new flexible benefits website, TMG Benefits Xchange, we took some time making sure that the people we partnered with were well regarded in their field.

The Telegraph Media Group set a carbon cap of 160g/km for all vehicles selected under the scheme, which went live at the start of this month, to encourage uptake of environmentally-friendly cars.

To help communicate details of the scheme to Telegraph employees, Tusker attended two roadshows at its central London offices in which employees were given a thorough briefing and provided with details of how to get the best from the scheme.

Tusker currently have more than 50 salary sacrifice car schemes in operation using the SS4C platform covering an eligible audience of 300,000 employees, which is soon to be increased by a number of further schemes set to go live in the next few weeks.
