SMA Vehicle Remarketing places fleet order for MG6 GT

By / 10 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The MG6 GT SE models ordered by SMA feature the new 1.9 litre DTi-Tec diesel engines with 148bhp and 258lb.ft of torque but with improved emissions of 129g/km. The SE specification models includes integrated satellite navigation with a lifetime subscription to Trafficmaster, cruise control, dual zone climate control and intelligent stop start systems.

Bob Anderson, managing director of SMA Vehicle Remarketing, said: ‘In assessing our options for our fleet, we had a number of attractive options available. However, the MG proposition with its distinctive and historic brand is something we knew would create an immediate level of interest with our customers as our field team visited them.

‘SMA is a company with a rich and proud heritage, which is on a strong upward growth trajectory; the MG brand is in a similar position with significant growth in its dealer network. Going further its value proposition shares much in common with ours, efficient, innovate, distinctive, personal and forward-looking. For fleets like us, the latest diesel MG6 delivers a high specification and low running costs with a level of energetic personal service that makes a real difference. We are proud to be driving something designed and engineered in Britain.’

Guy Jones, sales and marketing director of MG UK, added: ‘The latest developments with our diesel MG6 and the launch of our MG3 supermini mean we now have both the product range and a rapidly expanding national dealer network to give fleets a new choice. MG6 and MG3 can offer fleet operators a new option for reliable, low running costs and fleet drivers a driving experience and specification currently only available at much higher P11D costs.’
