Luke’s appointment sees SKODA boost its team of fleet sales managers from seven to eight – a demonstration of the Czech manufacturer’s continued commitment to fleet sales. Joining the SKODA UK team from Lombard Vehicle Management, Luke has three years’ experience of fleet management along with a further seven years’ sales experience, having previously worked in the retail department at Royal Bank of Scotland.

In 2011, SKODA UK celebrated a record year in the fleet sector achieving registrations of nearly 22,000, a 31% increase on the previous year, breaking through the 2% market share barrier for the first time. Now commanding a healthy 2.4% market share YTD, the team is better placed than ever before to deliver SKODA’s proposition of value for money, engineering innovation and a focus on personal relationships to an increasingly receptive fleet audience.
