Silverstone Fleet Show 2014: Jaguar to showcase performance and economy credentials

The 2014 Fleet Show, which takes place at Silverstone on 9th April, sees the iconic Silverstone Grand Prix circuit split in two, so that the National circuit can be used for high-speed laps – handy for taking models such as the Jaguar XFR-S, XJR, XKR-S, XKR-S and F-TYPE Convertible out for a spin.

Meanwhile the International Circuit will be used for road speed drives, giving attendees the option to use this track for testing out fleet-focused models such as the XF R-Sport – fresh from its Geneva debut and offering sports styling along with emissions of 129g/km – and the XF 3.0 diesel S.

And with Portfolio and Premium Luxury versions of the XF at the Show, attendees will be able to experience how Jaguar is at the forefront of comfort too. There will also be a static F-TYPE Coupe for fleets to check out.

This year’s Silverstone Fleet Show will see Jaguar joined by some of the other biggest names in the fleet industry attending, including BMW, Land Rover, Volvo, Lexus and Infiniti.

Meanwhile as well as the test-driving element, the Show will again feature an indoor exhibition in halls 1-3 of the Silverstone Wing, with up to 60 exhibitors demonstrating some of the latest developments, products and services in the fleet arena.

Exhibitors include The Fuel Card Group, which will be showcasing its computer-based MileageCount solution to the problem of meeting stringent HMRC mileage recording requirements.

Not only will fleets be able to find out more about this innovative solution but those who ask for a trial are also being offered a couple of free DVLA licence checks.

The Show also will pioneer an exciting new seminar and training format designed to provide practical hands-on advice and guidance across a range of fleet management disciplines.

Each session will be presented by a respected and current fleet manager whose own experience in their chosen subject area will provide delegates with a case-study style learning experience.
