Gain Solutions, which offers a number of intra-industry and end-user fleet solutions, has announced the promotion of commercial director Marcus Blakemore to the role of managing director.

The change, agreed at a recent board meeting, comes as former MD Robin Watson becomes the first chairman at the company with a remit to develop the long-term strategy, as well as undertake special projects for the business.

Speaking about his new role, Marcus Blakemore said: “Robin has done a fantastic job in building up the business, which is now recognised as a major independent player in the automotive remarketing sector. I aim to continue his good work.
