Selsia boosts salvage management services

The company, which runs a UK-wide accident repair network, has a process in place with several approved salvage agents across the UK that can be centrally managed as part of the company’s total accident repair services. Once the decision has been made not to repair a vehicle, Selsia will contact its approved salvage agents across the UK with damage details and they will have bids back within three working days.

Salvage agents are chosen for jobs based on their suitability for the type of vehicle, severity of impact and their location/logistics capability for collection.

In addition, Selsia always aims to get its fleet clients’ salvage vehicles collected, free of charge, prior to the free storage period expiring. The company says this results in less recovery and storage costs, reduced administration and competitive bids from multiple salvage agents. Faster cash flow is also a key benefit.
