SEAT staff offer ‘virtual model tours’ from driveways

SEAT has adapted to the Covid-19 lockdown by providing virtual tours of its model range from product experts’ driveways.

SEAT’s specialists are able to give product advice and support to customers and demonstrate the brand’s SUV range

With its showrooms shut in line with government advice, SEAT has relocated the Live Showcase service – which normally operates from a dedicated facility – to the homes of staff.

Supported by video technology, it means the brand’s specialists can give product advice and support to customers without leaving their homes. It also enables potential buyers to view the new Arona, Ateca and Tarraco SUV models via livestreaming.

Operated in a similar way to Škoda’s remote service, the Live Showcase operation is run by a team of six SEAT hosts who have already handled more than 200 calls in just one week of fully remote operation.

The service is available Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 21:00 and Saturday to Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00.
