SEAT Ateca and Tarraco get tech upgrades for new model year
SEAT has enhanced the Ateca and Tarraco SUVs with new connected and safety technologies.
The updates for the 2022 model year see the Ateca midsize SUV gain SEAT’s Pre-Crash Assist safety system as standard for the Xperience Lux trim. The tech draws on data from the forward-facing camera to detect and prepare for potential collisions, tightening seatbelts and closing windows, in addition to applying the brakes to reduce speed.
Both the Ateca SE and SE Technology trims (DSG-auto only) also now get the sports leather steering wheel with gear-shift paddles, making it standard across all trim levels.
Updates on the larger Tarraco see SE trims updated with the addition of SEAT Connect as standard – making it standard across the entire range now – and Adaptive Cruise Control is now featured on SE and SE Technology models.
Prices for the updated ranges start at £24,560 OTR for the Ateca and £30,080 for the Tarraco.
