Growth to the company’s fleet size and client base has seen staff numbers increase, and according to managing director, Gary Benfield, the extension will not only house the additional personnel but will enable the company to expand further in the coming years.

“We’re delighted to have enjoyed steady growth in recent years with the addition of many new customers, and through the utilisation of our wider range of services, we’ve been able to better serve many of our existing clients too,” said Benfield.

“In order to maintain the very highest levels of service and support, we have strengthened our team with additional sales coordinators, a role designed to offer dedicated customer support to our national client base, and we have also grown our IT, office support and marketing teams.

“The office extension will support our growth plans for the coming year, offering clients on-going stability of service and support.”

The existing Sandicliffe office was built in 1997, and the new extension will increase overall space by a third.

In keeping with the original building design, the new ‘wing’ will create a mixture of both private and open plan office spaces, additional meeting rooms, plus new hot-desking facilities for employees on the move.

Plans also include increasing the on-site vehicle preparation and storage facilities to accommodate the growing fleet numbers; a key benefit of Sandicliffe Motor Contracts’ service offering being that each and every vehicle is inspected prior to onward delivery, and reviewed at the end of the contract.

Phil Elms, sales and marketing director, added: “This building project demonstrates our commitment to growing the business further, offering more job opportunities and cementing our place as one of the leading independent vehicle leasing companies in the country.”
