Under the new appointments, Rob Corbett becomes operations manager and Johnathon Mathers joins as sales executive.

The company said the experience and ability of the two new recruits would allow it to build on its success and expand its customer base in the SME marketplace. It now has over 985 business customers running around 14,000 vehicles using a range of services that include fleet management, daily rental management, vehicle telematics, risk management, contract hire and flexi-lease.

Rob Corbett brings 27 years of fleet management experience to his new post, which bears responsibility for supporting the operational growth of the business as Run Your Fleet expands to meet growing customer demand for its wide range of services.

Corbett explained: ‘I am looking forward to working with this already very talented team and aiding the continued growth of our unique services. Our online dashboard makes running your fleet, whatever the size, simple, with cost effective offerings that can be selected as and when you need them. The “Run Your Fleet” membership has many benefits included that only large fleet operators are normally privy to.’

Meanwhile Johnathon Mathers brings experience within the customer service sector for some of the key names in the motor trade, including Listers Audi, and will strengthen the sales team of Run Your Fleet to meet increasing demand from both new and existing customers.

Steve Whitmarsh, managing director, said: ‘We are delighted to announce the appointment of Johnathon. Johnathon has a great deal of experience in both sales and customer service from both within and outside the automotive sector. With his appointment we will be better placed to capitalise on new business opportunities and meet the requirements of our expanding customer base.’
