RTR reduces recovery and repair costs for fleet operators

The firm has launched a new free membership breakdown and recovery scheme as well as extensive repair and litigation facilities.

The Breakdown and Repair Scheme is a free membership, "pay as you go", scheme, which is run through a specialist 24-hour Call Centre and is supported by a national network of leading vehicle recovery companies, able to deal with all vehicles from a moped to a 44-tonne truck. Standard recovery charges are discounted by over 50% and there are significant other benefits that can dramatically reduce the cost of the recovery, storage and repair of the vehicle.

The firm says that the scheme is particularly appropriate for vehicles over three years old, which no longer have the benefit of the manufacturer-sponsored recovery support. These will immediately benefit from the free membership Breakdown and Recovery Scheme whilst the remainder of the vehicles will benefit by using the RTR national recovery and repair network, ensuring that the vehicle is returned to the road in the best condition and at the least cost.

The company said: 'The-fast growing breakdown scheme is proving to be an attractive option for many motorists who are seeking to control costs without losing quality of service, whilst those with newer vehicles are finding that the RTR network is the key to controlling "off road" costs.'
